Cashpoint Network Services, Inc. Bankruptcy

The Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions has learned that Cashpoint Network Services, Inc., ("Cashpoint"), has been placed in involuntary bankruptcy in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on April 22, 2004 in Docket #04-12771. Further, the New York Banking Department has issued a temporary Order of Suspension of Cashpoint's New York license to engage in the business of money transmission on April 21, 2004, for a period of thirty days from the date of issuance of the temporary order.

All Louisiana agents of Cashpoint should consider contacting their legal counsel to ascertain their rights and obligations with respect to their affiliation with Cashpoint.
